Kidderminster Horticultural Society was an annual event, where members volunteered to open their garden for other members and the public to explore. This was a great fun social event, and a superb day out. Some of the garden volunteers also sold refreshments, homemade cake and cuttings from their garden. The gardeners were always to hand for people to ask questions about aspects of their garden.

 

ALL the proceeds of the Garden open Day were donated to local charities, so not only do we all gave a great day out, local charities benefit from the day too. Kidderminster Horticultural Society raised over £100,000, all of which was donated to charity.
